2024 New CAN FD/DoIP Protocols:

• CAN FD: Compatible with GM models (2019 and later). CAN with flexible data-rate (CAN FD) overcomes the limitations of the classic CAN bus regarding data transfer rate. In practice, the data throughput of CAN FD is 6x higher than classic CAN, depending on the network topology.
• DoIP: Compatible with BMW (F&G chassis), Volvo models (2018 and later), Land Rover, and Jaguar models (2017 and later). Diagnostics over DoIP use diagnostics introduced via UDS over TCP/IP and Ethernet, allowing much higher data rates than CAN. This saves both time and cost in complex diagnostic tasks and flash applications. (Note: DoIP adapter not included.)

Supports more than 60+ commonly used special functions
To quickly find the reset function you want to perform, we have included some commonly used reset functions in the reset menu. For other reset functions, please access the special function menu under the vehicle model system.

1. ABS Bleeding: When the ABS contains air, the ABS bleeding function must be performed to bleed the brake system and restore the ABS brake sensitivity.
2. TPMS Reset: When the tire pressure is too low, the tire is leaking, the tire pressure monitoring device is replaced or installed, the tire is replaced, and the tire pressure sensor is damaged, the tire pressure reset function must be performed to reset the tire pressure and turn off the tire pressure indicator.
3. Oil Lamp Reset: Allows the reset for a new calculation of the engine oil life system after changing the oil.
4. Electronic Throttle Sensor Reset: To use the auto decoder to initialize the throttle actuator so that the learning value of the ECU returns to the initial state.
5. Injector Coding: After the ECU or injector is replaced, the injector code for each cylinder must be confirmed or re-coded to better identify the injector and control the fuel injection accurately.
6. SAS Reset: Helps clear the memory of the faulty steering angle sensor to reset the steering angle and plays an important role in the calibration of the steering angle sensor.
7. Brake Pad Reset: To deactivate and activate the brake control system, assist in brake fluid control, open and close brake pads, and adjust brakes after disc or pad replacement.
8. Suspension Matching: When replacing the body height sensor in the air suspension system or the control module or if the vehicle level is incorrect, this function adjusts the body height sensor for level calibration.
9. AFS Headlamp Reset: Allows you to initialize the adaptive front lighting system.
10. A/F Reset: This function is applied to adjust or learn air/fuel ratio parameters.
11. Sunroof Initialization: Allows you to deactivate the sunroof lock, close it in the rain, set the sliding/tilting sunroof memory function, outside temperature threshold, etc.
12. Battery Matching: Allows you to perform a reset operation on the battery monitoring unit, clearing the original fault information for low battery status.
13. DPF Regeneration: Used to remove particulate matter (PM) from the DPF filter through continuous combustion oxidation mode. Works specifically for the diesel particulate filter system with DPF.
14. IMMO Service: To prevent the car from being used by unauthorized keys, the anti-theft key matching function must be performed so that the car's anti-theft control system can identify and authorize the remote control keys to use the car normally.

Bidirectional Control (Active Test)

• Active Test is widely used for car subsystems equipped with bidirectional controls to accurately locate faults to help you verify whether the car actuators are all in good condition. Example: If the idle speed is unstable after cleaning the throttle, the LAUNCH X431 pro 3s+ can perform the active test on the engine system to reset the minimum operating learning value of the throttle sensor and restore the normal idle speed.

Commonly used active tests include:

• EVAP vent/purge solenoid valve
• Injector test
• Air conditioning clutch relay
• Bicycle ABS motor pump
• Fan test
• Window/light/door lock actuators/headlight test/sunroof/mirror operation/horn activation

And other actuation test functions, including throttle modulation, ACC lane keeping assist (LKAS) shutdown; front and rear ACM solenoid on and off, left clutch solenoid test, acceleration device test, oil pressure control test, DYNAMIC camera alignment, brake vacuum pump, intake and exhaust valve tests, brake tests, parking brake motors, wheel speed sensor supply, parking brake tests, etc. (*Actuation test functions vary by vehicle system.)
 

ECU Coding (Online/Offline Coding):

• Online Coding: The corresponding configuration of each chassis number from Volkswagen is stored on the LAUNCH server. Through online coding, the correct vehicle code can be provided to ensure the normal use of the function. Compatible with Volkswagen/Renault/Audi/BMW/Benz/Seat/Porsche, etc.
• Offline Coding: Compatible for VAG group vehicles;
